Caleidra's First Song?

So what inspired your first song?

"It often takes a life changing event to provide that spark. For me it was the tragic death of a close friend at an early age. It was my first experience of loss and music was my way of dealing with it."

And what happened?

"I wrote 'For Jamie' not long after Jamie was killed aged 18 in a BMX accident, just as he'd broken up for the summer and..."

... my first song is for Jamie.

In 2011 Jamie's family formed the JHS School of Performing Arts a charity to celebrate Jamie's life and provide opportunities for children to develop their skills in drama, dance and music.
